USCentrally located within walking distance of many attractions! The host was very hospitable and accommodating!
Nothing bad to say except low water pressure in shower, but it is a basement apartment.
GBGreat apartment. Newly refurbished and very clean. Kitchen well kitted out with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, coffee machine, crockery and utensils. Reliable WiFi. Nice street and area - good mini markets and restaurants nearby. Downtown an easy 20-30 minute walk or short Uber/bus ride away. Good communications from owner.
GBThis is a nice, cosy, comfortable basement apartment in a good location not too far from downtown DC and the National Mall etc. The host was responsive and helpful before our stay, allowing us to drop our bags off before the apartment was ready. It has good AC, and a TV though you will need to sign into your own streaming services accounts.
The kitchen was missing some items, including tea and coffee pods for the coffee machine, and a couple of other things. The host messaged on the first morning to ask if we found everything we need, so I replied to say what was missing, but my message was ignored. I sent a follow up message the next day which was also ignored. They then sent a message with check-out instructions and still ignored my message, and I also followed up after we left but they still ignored my message. Overall we had a nice stay, but were let down by the host ignoring us, and the kitchen wasn't as usable as you would expect.
USUSWonderful basement apartment: fresh, clean, a real gem. A lot of care has gone into this comfortable space. Quality linens, a nicely stocked kitchen, washer and dryer... The owner lives upstairs and is responsive and kind. It is located in a very nice and walkable neighborhood, metro is a 10 minute walk and gets you everywhere.

PHUSThe apartment is really nice with smart solutions and very good artificial illumination to over come the little windows. The office desk with the monitor and the very comfort chair are creating a perfect corner where to work. And the walk in shower is very relaxing. The place has everything you need.
I would only add a blanket for the couch and more comfy pillows for the bed.

USChecking in was super easy, host was very accommodating with quick responses, everything was clean. The apartment had nice décor and was very comfortable! About a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station, conveniently located.
The area immediately around the apartment wasn't the best, perfectly fine to walk during the day but not the type of place I would feel comfortable walking later in the night.
