Birgu's central traditional apartment

The apartment is a wonderful little place in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Just down the street is a square with a number of restaurants and shops and still more are just a little farther. As well, catching a boat over to Valletta isn’t much more than a five minute walk.

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento a Birgu e mi sono trovata benissimo. La casa è molto confortevole, curata nei dettagli e dotata di tutto il necessario per vivere comodamente: cucina attrezzata, spazi ben organizzati e atmosfera accogliente. La posizione è ideale per visitare Birgu e i dintorni. La proprietaria è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronta ad aiutare e a fornire consigli utili. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole, lo consiglio vivamente!

The location was amazing. Apartment bigger than expected. Big bathroom and comfortable kitchen. The host is really nice and open do changes.

The noise from the street in the mornings

High percentage humidity in the whole house( maybe due to the season) , mosquitos bitten us every single night even though was January, even though we took pharma products for prevention, cleaning was not proper-long black hairs in baths, on the floor, in beds and towels.

Położony w przepięknej, klimatycznej części Birgu, zaledwie kilka minut spacerem od centrum z lokalnymi restauracjami i kawiarniami. Niedaleko znajduje się również urokliwy port, z którego można popłynąć gondolą do Valletty – niezapomniane doświadczenie. Sam apartament jest przepiękny, urządzony w autentycznym maltańskim stylu, który pozwala naprawdę poczuć historię tego miejsca. Wnętrze jest komfortowe i doskonale wyposażone – w apartamencie znajdziesz wszystko, czego potrzeba podczas pobytu. Kuchnia wyposażona perfekcyjnie, a dwie łazienki to ogromny atut. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługują właściciele – przeuroczy, niezwykle pomocni, mili i kulturalni. Odpowiadają na każde pytanie i dbają o gości z ogromnym zaangażowaniem. Wybrałam ten apartament, kierując się opiniami innych – dziś sama mogę to potwierdzić. Jeśli czytasz moją opinię, nie zastanawiaj się. Klikaj, rezerwuj i ciesz się komfortem oraz pięknem Birgu. Będziesz zachwycony. Serdecznie pozdrawiam właścicieli. Było cudownie.

We can wholeheartedly recommend this Tiny Treasure. It is a pretty, newly renovated apartment, stretching over three floors. The fully equipped kitchen is on the ground floor, right where you enter. Then you have a larger bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine + dryer in the basement. On the top floor you´ll have two living-/bedrooms, a second small bathroom with a shower and the little balcony. It is perfectly located in a small alley, just minutes away from Birgu´s centre with restaurants and bus stop. Also, very nearby you have a little grocery store (Il-Pjazzetta) for food basics (and Kinnie;). Best of all, a fantastic public platform with benches (google maps: Birgu Belverdere/Is-Simenta) to drink your coffee or have a bite while enjoying a stunning view of Valetta, Kalkara and the marina in between. With ferry and bus you still have good connection to Valetta, but for staying I would always prefer charming Birgu over touristically crowded Valetta. We had a wonderful first time in Malta, thanks to the hosts Louis and Tracy who are really kind and made us feel very welcome. Communication was perfect, easy access to the apartment via a key box, absolutely clean! If you want some traditional Maltese home feel combined with modern comfort, go for the Tiny Treasure! It´s gorgeous.

We loved this place if I could give a better score I would Louis was an excellent host when we go back to malta we will be staying again

There was nothing not to like

The location was very good as we wanted to stay away from the busy tourist area of Valletta and mix more with the locals. Short walk to the wharf for the ferry to Valletta. Close to dining was great
