The apartment was spacious. 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.

Last-Minute changes: Despite booking and receiving confirmation on May 27th, the host contacted us on the night before of our stay via WhatsApp, claiming the property wasn't available on Airbnb. They offered a different unit at the same price. Based on reviews from Duya (21/6/2024) and Syamizam (30/6/2024) mentioned similar issues. The host should have been upfront and informed upcoming guests about the unavailability. Unpleasant Conditions: The replacement unit had a persistent, strong mothball odor throughout. Promised Wi-Fi was unavailable due to a pending technician visit (similar to another review on June 30th). Without Wi-Fi, the TV was useless. Cleanliness Concerns: The bedding has foul-smelling blankets, appeared dusty upon arrival, requiring cleaning before use. We found dust in the master bedroom door, raising concerns despite the cleaning fee. The iron lacked an ironing board, although the listing promised "iron & iron facilities." Security and Location: Only a unit key was provided, while accessing the building required an access card at the guardhouse, where the guard might not be present at night. The alternative location was significantly further from the city center and lacked nearby shops, requiring inconvenient drives for essentials. Recommendation: Due to the numerous issues i.e last-minute changes, mothball odor etc,we strongly advise against booking this property. The lack of essential amenities, cleanliness concerns, and inconvenient location significantly impacted our stay. For a comfortable and hassle-free Kuching experience, consider exploring other accommodation options.

NOT AT ALL! IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE BY THIS HOST

FIRST, THEY CALLED SAYING THAT THE ORIGINAL PROPERTY WAS NOT FOR ‘AIRbNB’. I WAS PUZZLED AND HE SIMPLY MOVED ME TO OTHER PROPERTY: THAT IS NOT SIMILAR WITH THE PICTURE IN BOOKING.COM. IT WAS SMELLY, TV IS NOT FUNCTIONING, NO WIFI, DIRTY KITCHEN…I CANNOT ARGUE SINCE I CANT TRUST THIS PEOPLE WILL REFUND MY MONEY, AND WILL NEED TO FIND OTHERS PROPERTY.. FURTHERMORE, HE FORCED TO PAY FOR DEPOSIT (RM 200). AGAIN, THIS DID NOT MENTION IN BOOKING.COM! THIS HOST IS TOTALLY IS A SCAMMER AND I HAVE ALREADY LODGED A POLICE REPORT! NEVER BOOK WITH THIS PROPERTY!!

Very very disappointed. Got extra charge for cleaning,but the apartment condition is not as expected. Some light also not functioning. Also we need to clean up own rubbish and tidy up our room. Overall,this apartment is not ready to occupy. Will never stay here again.
