WoodSpring Suites Kansas City Airport

Hotel is fairly new but the walls are very thin. You hear everything that goes on.

Room was clean. Didn’t have any soap or shampoo in room, but front desk delivered it up to us after asking. Hallways smelled of food cooking and hallway on our door had gross spill marks into the carpet that hadn’t been cleaned. People always fight out front the doors smoking as if they can’t read no smoking within 25’ of the building. It worked out for our trip needs.

Where before we checked in, they had called but I missed a call at 11:30 then check in after three like four ready so when you got a bite to eat and a couple of drinks, it would’ve been nice. They would offer you a coupon to go have a drink out of the room wasn’t ready and then this morning Getting ready to check out and head back. There was no iron really that was nothing no kind of utensil whatsoever.

What I didn't like is that there is no pool, no breakfast, and they don't clean the rooms. 4 of us stayed and they only gave us 2 towels. The GPS sends you to the back, where there is no entrance. If you don't know the area, you will have to go back and enter through Wendy's. These are small details, but when you want to arrive and rest, that bothers you. The beds have iron bases and they make noise, that was my experience.

Location was good and the staff was nice. Room was clean. Ok for the 2 nights we were there.

There was a bad odor every time we walked into our room. There was no getting rid of the smell. The bed was really low and hard. Also when we were about to check out we saw two roaches.

Clean and staff was friendly and courteous.

Most hotels charge $15-20/night for a pet. This hotel charged us $60 for one night for our non-shedding 20-pound shih-tzu. Staff disappears at 11pm and our room only had two towels for four paid and declared guests. Called the after hours number and got an automated menu and notified us to wait until normal hours…
