Het was een prachtig appartement! Voor ons heel onverwacht want wij hadden een andere accommodatie geboekt, waar wij voor een dichte deur stonden. Dus paniek! De eigenaar was super flexibel, gastvrij en meedenkend en hoewel het al in de avond was, konden wij terecht! Het was een feestje om daar te zijn! Erg schoon, modern en verzorgd met heerlijke bedden! En als kers op de taart, een fijne ommuurde tuin, waar ons hummeltje heerlijk veilig kon spelen. Kortom, een enorme aanrader!

Helemaal niets!

The apartment is 5-star and very well equipped — nothing to complain about it! Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the owner, George, and I will detail below what happened

Right upon arrival, George mentioned that the tourists before me had ruined all the towels with makeup stains and that if we stained them, we would have to either clean or pay for them. After four days, the towels were changed, and George counted the towels in front of me, noting that two small towels were missing and that I should look for them because he was sure he had given them to me. I told him I would check after my wife and daughter woke up, but he insisted that I put those towels outside as well, even though I told him I had found them and they were unused. This aspect was unpleasant for me, but not that much… The most disturbing issue, however, was related to the air conditioning. After we arrived, I asked for a second electricity card, which I received on the first evening of our stay. On the fifth day, knowing I would return to the apartment earlier, I left the air conditioning on. It seems that George saw this detail, he called and then messaged me, asking where I was? I didn’t have my phone with me at the beach, but I called him back once I returned. He asked me again “where am I?” (with a completely inappropriate voice tone) for leaving the air conditioning on, saying it was not acceptable due to a fire risk and that I was only allowed to use it while in the apartment! Can you imagine if I had left the air conditioning on overnight and a fire started? Would that have been better, considering I was staying there with my two children? Using the AC only for 2–3 hours in the evening wasn’t enough, as it got too hot in the apartment overnight. To conclude, George managed to ruin the rest of our stay and made me feel constantly followed . 😞 It is the first time in my life when the owner doesn’t allow me to use the air conditioning while I’m out!!!
