Peaceful LARGE Studio Flat Colchester

The flat was very spacious, clean and had everything u need. I was there with my dad visiting my daughter n had the best time. I couldn't fault the flat and the owner was so lovely. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a good stay at this apartment, everything we needed for one night was there. Perhaps kitchen towels and few more plates /drink glasses to kitchens cupboards would make our stay even better (we are family of 4).Beds were very comfortable and have nice soft bedding covers. Overall, great, spacious apartment! Owner was very happy to come and help to cater to our needs.

Bathroom could do with hiding large pipe out of sight. On our arrival TV was not working (most probably was damaged by previous visitors ), but owner came to resque in 30 minutes with replacement TV.

Everything about this property is superb, nice quiet location, easy parking and the owner of this beautiful apartment is so easy with great communications. This will be the first place I search for when back on the area Thank you so much

The flat is well located - above 3 garages in a private estate of townhouses. There is ample onsite parking and it feels safe. The area is quiet, and with woodland just behind the property it is a pleasant place to stay. Loads of room, and a huge really comfortable bed. The kitchen and facilities have recently been refurbished and are instantly available.

The bathroom was definitely not luxury, and poor. There was no hot water in the bathroom, including the shower which is operated by a pull cord in the same room. No combination of dials on the shower would make it warm. All cleaning materials are dumped in the bathroom because there is nowhere else to store them. We arrived in freezing conditions in early December, to find that the owner had left the window open all day - the temp inside the flat was sub zero, as seen on the radiators temp display. The owner said that the previous tenant had been smoking and there was a strong smell of smoke. It took until the early hours of the morning for the temperature to become even comfortable. We were offered a refund but what we wanted was a warm place to stay. The bedding was summer weight so not much help there I'm afraid. We were really disappointed, and now see that the word 'luxury' has been removed from the title description. I also want to mention that it was a good job we didn't want to use the washing machine because it was not plugged in, the plug was hanging out of the front and we would have had to pull the machine out to plug in, Heaven knows whether the water or waste was connected. Oh, there were no TV channels only - just Netflix.
