Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa - Maldives

This is a perfect hotel, but what really makes it perfect is the amazing TEAM. First of all, we want to say a big thank you to OLGA and to everyone else. Our holiday was just wonderful, without any problems. If you ask, “What was the best part?” — definitely the food. Breakfast was a legend by itself! We also want to thank the buggy drivers who took us from our room to the restaurant and other places in just a few minutes. Our son got sick during the trip, and we are really thankful to the clinic doctor. He was very professional and helped us a lot. We were thinking of ending the holiday early, but thanks to his support, we could stay. In short, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in more than 40 countries, and I can say: Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa is number one on my list.

The trip was everything we could have wished for and more!! Upon arrival, we met our island host, Li, who was so helpful, so kind, so sweet and answered every question we had! Gave us a lovely tour and checked in with us every time! Thank you so much Li, you were incredible! Shout out to the staff at Latitude and Bodumas who were so so friendly! Hassan at latitude who served us lunch was wonderful, always greeting us with a smile! The expedition with Dive Butler was great too! Really have nothing negative to say, the villa was absolutely stunning, definitely hope to be back again!!

Onu Marche restaurant is the best—there is an absolutely new, huge, and super tasty menu every day. Each day we received a message from our Island host Olga about the new menu at Onu Marche restaurant. The WiFi free version was stable and speedy. The staff is very responsive but not annoying. We had a beach villa (sunset view) - it was super comfortable, clean and beautiful. The place is super friendly for kids.

Quality of the food was good given the location of the island. Breakfast impressive.

- a bit tired - Trying to book restaurants painful - general communication just disconnected, example, you tell them the wine, the country and you say it’s the only one that’s $27 and still you brought the wrong wine. If it was just one little thing like this, you wouldn’t raise it but it was just so many little things like this. - Napkins damp - Latitude Restaurant was bizarre. Was told bar menu not too dissimilar to main menu so we decided to eat later. When the menu came it was completely different and had hardly any items on it. Same chap who said this also brought completely the wrong drink - Even though this is a resort everything is structured around the hotel not the guest. You will eat when we tell you you can, 12 and 3:30pm. If outside of this we will train our staff to try to resist your request and offer reduced menu and places you can eat. - In terms of getting drinks, it also goes dead between 3 and 7 pm which is not ideal when you’re lounging on the beach on your holiday. - To continue the theme about everything is about the hotel, and not the guest, we’re lying on the beach and it’s late afternoon, early evening watching the Sun go down on a sun lounger and a man comes up and says we’re putting the umbrella down that we’re sat under. The Sun still up and whilst the umbrella is not needed, it’s an unnecessary intrusion which is about what they want, not their guests. - Continuation and another example of the same theme, we go to the guy at the bar at the Onu Marche restaurant and ask him to look at the bar menu that served all day, he tells us they don’t only breakfast and dinner which starts at 7 pm. We ask another person who then takes us to the bar menu and they do. This resort is full of such events.

The resort was amazing! The overwater villas were perfect and offered everything we needed. The staff were very kind and very helpful, providing everything for us to have a very relaxing week.

Very expensive

We just had a wonderful family vacation at the resort, and we are so grateful for the incredible service we received! A big thank you to our host, Ms. Li, who made us feel so welcome and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Kids Club mentors-Ms. Shann, Ms. Katia, Ms. Ana, and Ms. Anastasia. They created such a fun and engaging atmosphere for our children. We especially appreciate Ms. Shann for taking such great care of our daughters. Her warmth and attentiveness made a significant difference, and it was comforting to know our kids were in such capable hands. Overall, our experience at the resort was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful staff. We highly recommend this resort for families looking for a memorable getaway!

The USB charging port in my villa isn't functioning, but since I have a USB/Type-C charger with me, it's not a significant issue
