Everything is amazing !!

The lodges are wonderful , we stayed in the “Skylark” lodge, it was spotlessly clean, very modern ,spacious and extremely comfortable. This lodge had everything you need for a perfect stay and of the best views we’ve ever had from any holiday let we’ve ever booked in the uk. You are met with this the minute you enter the lodge, it takes your breath away. Owners were very friendly, warm and welcoming. We loved that there was also a restaurant with multiple terraces to eat and drink from here too. All with the same wonderful views. Food at the restaurant was very good and the atmosphere wonderful. Restaurant does not open early for breakfast but even though the cooking facilities are great in the lodge, if you don’t fancy cooking they have a fabulous catering truck at the end of the car park that does fabulous breakfast sandwiches and a variety of coffee’s and other drinks. There are tables and chairs outside or you can simply take your breakfast back to your lodge. We had such a wonderful stay here, So much so we booked immediately when we returned home for a longer stay in July.

There was not one thing that let this property down at all. It was 100 % perfection.

The cabin was beautiful and so much effort had been put into the small details. Welcome gifts were a nice touch. A luxurious and spacious set up. The restaurant was lovely and what an incredible view (we had a gorgeous sunset). The cafe in the morning was handy for breakfast. Perfect place for hiking up Pendle Hill too.

We barely managed to sleep (in Little Owl) because the outside garden area remained brightly lit at night and the blinds have very big gaps. So we also woke very early with the sun. Curtains would do the job, or turning the lights off at night. Shame to have a view of the back of cabins and the car park too which I didn’t realise when booking but perhaps I didn’t check details enough.

A fabulous place to stay for an enjoyable get away. Superb rooms with stunning views. Having the fantastic restaurant, The Wellsprings on the doorstep makes it even better.
