Accommodation at Vans No Loadshedding

The room itself was lovely.

The way it operates. You ring the doorbell, then the owner answers the phone. Then they call the person on site to come and open up. All while you're just parked on the road outside. The garage door broke while I was there, which couldn't be helped but the way the owners handled the issue wasn't ideal. I was unable to leave the property until the door was fixed, which meant I missed the appointment I was in Joburg for. Owners didn't even come to the property to talk to us in person about the issue of the garage door. Just said that someone was on their way. The man that repaired the garage door wasn't even aware that the guests that were stuck were all needing to leave, so there didn't seem to be any urgency communicated to the repair man. Customer service skills were really slack in general. The room itself was lovely, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The unit was spacious with everything you need.

Location and the look and feel of the place is good.

The bathroom taps had old dried up soaps from previous users. No toilet paper holder. We were greeted by a huge spider had to call for help. The staff lady was so casual about it yet I was traumatized.
