British Square - Stylish Apartment with Private Parking

Nice apartman, stylish, modern furniture, tidy, spacious. I liked the big sofa to chill. 😀 Very close to city center. Parking is included. It is quite difficult to find parking for your car in Zagreb downtown.

Apartman is in an old building that is not in a good shape. You access the apartman through a messy gate, and inneryard plus a staircase which is not in the best condition. So the first impression is a kind of shock but the apartman is nice and the people in the house are friendly. It is also difficult to park because the inneryard quickly fills up in the evening.

All was well with apartment. Except one evening the downstairs neighbour rang our doorbell after we had just comes back complaining of terrible banging. We explained we had just walked in the door. She threatened to call the police???. While in Zagreb we would be visiting our relatives during the day and only return to sleep. We told the host and he explained this particular neighbour had mental health issues. It made the experience very uncomfortable so we will not be staying there any more.

Car parking in city centre! Clean modern apartment, spacious and well laid out!

Very nice moderné appartement in good location near the centre. There is everything what you need for staying.

Location

there were no sheets but only a short sheet sack for the double bed. The dishwasher did not work.

Beautiful apartment, exactly as the photos, well furnished, spacious & comfortable. Excellent location, walking distance to centre, restaurants & sites. Very short walk (turning left out of archway) to 2 bakeries and across the road to a large supermarket. Smaller minimarket along the right heading to / from centre. The access info & photos to find the apartment were really helpful (+ we used Google maps & streetview as well). Parking on site made life so much easier. We didn't use the car in Zagreb, only to travel in and then on out to Plitvice, but it was safe, and easy for luggage.

Only thing missing from apartment was kitchen sink plug. For future visitors to Zagreb - check that what you want to visit is open on your dates. As at June 2023 a lot of places are still closed after the March 2020 earthquake, also some museums close early on Sat & Sun and / or don't open on Sun / Mon.

Really nice apartment. Looks brand new. Lovely location tucked away so no noise from the city during the night and centrally located. It has pretty much everything you need if you wanted to stay for a longer period as the kitchen was fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, kettle etc. Parking included which is a big bonus.

Little bit difficult to find the apartment. You have to drive into a yard from the Main Street which can be easily missed. Once you find it though it’s all good.
