MYMYIt’s sea view and location was good. The unit also quit huge.
The check-in process was not smooth at all. Firstly, the unit does not come with a parking space. We had to pay an additional RM10 in advance to book a parking slot. The directions provided via WhatsApp were not user-friendly, and the instructions were quite confusing. The key had to be collected from the mailbox, and we were only given one access card along with the power key. When we reached the unit, we assumed the card was for the door, but it remained locked and required us to wait 15 minutes before retrying. After multiple messages with the host, we only managed to enter after about 30 minutes, using an 8-digit PIN each time as it was a smart lock. This caused a significant delay during check-in. Upon entering the unit, it was generally clean, but the living room sofa was very old and dirty. The armrests had turned brown and black from their original white colour, making it quite uncomfortable and unpleasant to sit on. Additionally, both the living room and master bedroom air conditioners were not functioning properly and clearly needed servicing. The living area was not cool at all, and there was no ceiling fan. The master bedroom was also very warm, making it uncomfortable, especially in the hot weather. The parking situation was another major issue. When we tried to exit, we were asked to pay a flat rate of RM50. When we contacted the building management, they said we had parked in the wrong area (mall parking). However, the parking area we used was labeled “Silverscape Residences Parking.” We even took photos and confirmed with the host beforehand, and she mentioned it was fine as long as it was residence parking. At a glance, the host could have clarified that we were in the wrong section and guided us properly. Instead, we were repeatedly asked to refer to the manual, which felt very impersonal and unhelpful.
