Loios Studios and Apartments

I stayed in the top floor apartment with small balcony. It was very easy to sleep and comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great having a dishwasher and washing machine. The shower and bathroom were also great. The highlight is definitely the balcony. There were great views and a lovely sunrise viewpoint. Overall I was happy with my stay and felt like it was good value for money.

I have mixed feelings about the location. The nearby area is very dirty, there is a lot of visible drug use and many homeless people nearby. As a solo female traveller there were many times I didn’t feel safe. I was cat called and almost mugged just nearby. This is not the fault of the apartment itself, and the actual street it is located on felt safe. I would recommend avoiding the area around Lg. Terreirinho when going to/from the apartment. I would also say that I probably wouldn’t stay here other than on the top floor, to avoid the noise of other guests. I could hear it but it was not too bad and I had no one walking up or past my door because of being at the top floor. The bedroom doesn’t have a window and can be a bit stuffy but the air con and fans work well.

Location was great. The apartment had everything you could need, especially a very well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of storage space, closets, and the apartment felt very spacious overall. Having two AC units was also really helpful on colder days.

However, sound vibrations traveled very easily through the walls and floors of the building, which interrupted our sleep at times. The bedroom also didn’t have a window, so it was quite dark in the mornings, although it did have a ventilator for airflow.

Logement très facile d'accès. La petite attention à l'arrivée (bouteille de vin) est tres appréciable !! il y avait de quoi faire quelques lessives et ça c'est top car souvent on doit acheter pour l'utiliser. La vue de l'appartement est juste incroyable ! C'est également super que l'on puisse laisser nos bagages avant l'arrivée et après le checkout car il ya un local mis à disposition avec un digicode.

Le seul bémol c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de fenêtres dans la chambre à coucher mais sinon le reste au top !

The location was perfect. There were nice viewpoints nearby. The coffee machine was really nice and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have laundry, a little living room and clean bathroom. We cooked one meal in the kitchen too.

There was only one window and because it was facing the street and ground level, we didn't leave it open all night or when we left for the day so the apartment got little musty smelling. Running the dehumidifier helped a bit.
