El callejón suele estar oscuro, sin embargo no me sentí insegura en ningún momento.

Apartament wyglądał ładnie ale jednak inaczej niż na zdjęciach. Nie lubię spamu, chciałbym dostawać zwięzłe wiadomości z konkretnymi informacjami.

El barrio y tamaño. Tiene lo necesario para unos días.

Sofá incomodo, camas duras y al andar los vecinos se hace mucho ruido por el suelo de madera.

Entre habitaciones se escuchada todo. La habitación que tiene la bomba de gas para la calefacción si lo tienes encendido hace bastante ruido.

Very clean and well-stocked with essentials

We stayed in this 2-bedroom apartment in Alfama and, unfortunately, did not enjoy our experience. While the apartment is very clean and well-stocked with essentials, several issues made our stay uncomfortable. The layout is such that you enter into the living room, with the open kitchen behind it. To the right of the living room is the front bedroom, and to the right of the kitchen is the back bedroom. The front bedroom is at street level with the only window in the apartment, facing a busy alley. Because of this, we couldn’t open the window or even the shade without compromising privacy—people could look directly into the bedroom. The back bedroom doesn’t have a window at all, so it feels dark and enclosed, requiring the light to be on constantly. There is only one air conditioning unit in the front bedroom. It’s very loud and not powerful enough to cool the entire apartment. The back bedroom became extremely hot and stuffy with no proper airflow. We tried sleeping with all the doors and the window open for a few hours to get fresh air, but we ended up getting bitten by bugs, which was very unpleasant. There is a humidifier, but it was unable to reduce the humidity below 84%. The air conditioning unit is located under the window and emitted an unpleasant odor, which was quite bothersome. The bathroom connects the two bedrooms, which could be inconvenient depending on your group. Also, my husband is very tall and couldn’t stand fully under the shower head—he had to bend while showering, which was uncomfortable. On a positive note, the apartment was spotless, and we appreciated the kind cleaning lady who offered us fresh towels when she noticed us trying to dry ours outside.

Locatie (ligt in de supergezellige wijk Alfama), compleet en fijn ingericht, schoon, ruim. Communicatie met de host verliep zeer vlot en goed.

De airco werkte niet optimaal, maar dit was prima te overzien. Het toilet is krap voor mensen met lange benen.

The location was great in the middle of the old town, as long as you don't mind cimbing a steep hill!
