Location was ideal and check in/out process was straight forward. Key kept sticking and spent a while locked out. Owner wasn’t too helpful other than to say ‘noone else has experienced these problems’.

The location was good but I can’t find anything else positive to say about this place.

There is absolutely no love in this apartment and I don’t believe the owners should be in hospitality. The tv did not work, the heater made a dreadful noise, the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheet was not even wide enough to fit the mattress, there was a bag full of dirty linen left under the stairs, the only light in the kitchen was a dingy desk lamp, the building reeked of smoke with people smoking right outside the window, which incidentally overlooked a passageway and did not have courtyard views as advertised and despite being listed, there was no washing machine and when enquiring as to where it was, we got no response. Rummaging through an ivy bush across the road to locate the key from a key safe is also not my idea of fun.

I highly DO NOT recommend booking this apartment. First of all, there is no full address provided, so you have to go on a "scavenger hunt" to find the apartment and the key, which is just ridiculous! Once inside, you’ll see that the apartment has windows facing the corridor, so every neighbor can see directly into the apartment. There is even a window in the bathroom that looks into the staircase—this information should definitely be listed in the offer. The place itself was dusty and dirty. There was mold in the shower, and the toilet seat was filthy. The owner does not respond to messages. The kitchen light doesn’t work, and the apartment was very cold (November). There’s only one electric radiator, which is extremely loud! The ladder is quite dangerous, so I ended up trying to sleep on the couch, but it was really uncomfortable. The TV doesn’t work either; it only plays the radio. There is honestly nothing positive to say about this place—don’t waste your money!

The mattress is as thin as a book & needs replacing ASAP as you can feel the wood underneith making it a VERY uncomfortable stay The overall cleanliness of the property is shocking. There was dust everywhere under the bed, on the steps, on every surface. There were also other people's hairs on the steps. The shower had a disgusting brown residue on the tiles and door. The plug hole thick with said brown gunk- i had to clean this myself with bleach so I could use the shower! The dirt and dust behind bathroom sink needs cleaning too as well as the filthy thick with dust extractor with wires poking out. Host definitely ought to inspect electricity as the kitchen light (reported by prev host months ago) flickers and buzzes so hasnt been fixed, host put a desk lamp in kitchen but this is not a solution The very worn slippers wouldve been a nice touch for the filthy floors if they weren't black with other guests sweat and dirt. Please throw these out or replace after every guest I think you need to make guests aware that in order to access the apartment you have to walk through a communal hallway which other tenants use to smoke in- the only window in the room backs directly onto this hallway which means unless you want to breathe in secondhand smoke you need to leave windows closed with curtains across otherwise neighbours can see directly into apartment. Lack of fresh air/ventillation also needs to be transparent to guests. My partner did not sleep both nights during our stay due to the ridiculously hot temperature of the room. Host please invest in a fan or air con unit! No soap in apartment to wash hands- very unhygienic. I messaged host to ask where soap was, my message was ignored completely despite host replying where to leave the keys?? Sofa bed very uncomfortable- can feel wooden board underneith Boiler next to bed- very noisy as well as hearing neighbours chuck their rubbish out into the yard on a night Tv doesnt work- pointless

awkward, uncomfortable design of stairs to bed platform. Tight standing height on the bed platform (less than 180cm) During the first night no toilet paper (!), no proper bedding and shower towels. Came only the next day after 10 o’ clock and after my repeated complaints. Worst of all: on the Booking site no house number was given. The postal code led me to the wrong place in the street, where the further instructions by the owner didn’t work, of course. Nobody came to help me out. For me in the future only proper hotels with face-to-face contact. This was traumatic.

Location was quite good.

It was a bit difficult to find and the instructions for collecting the key was not very clear. The fold out sofa bed in living room was uncomfortable, the light in the kitchen didn’t work so unable to utilise the kitchen or make anything, the light was flickering and even when turned off remained flickering and seemed like something was wrong possibly unsafe. There was no bed sheets or duvet cover for the sofa bed.

Really clean, large room with everything needed. In a good location to visiting Bratislava as well as close to the train station for day trips.

It was hard to find where to put the key when leaving, recommended that the cleaner has a 2nd key so guests can just leave the key in the apartment. But still a really nice apartment and would use again when visiting Bratislava.
