Ultra Central Premium Duplex

The location.

It was SO DIRTY, the floor sticky, mirrors and the kitchen doors were disgusting, dust everywhere. 2,5 toilet rolls for 6 persons for 4 days. Not enough glasses, cups or kitchen supplies. The balcony was not inviting.

Was very spacious and close to amenities

It wasn’t as clean as it could possibly be dust all over and the floor wasn’t so clean I had to clean the apartment myself dust under the main bed and dirty floors was mopped and cleaned on 3 occasions of my stay

The location is ideal for seeing the city of Budapest. It is close to multiple transit lines that can take you anywhere into the city. Or if you want to walk, it's a fairly short distance to some tourist sites, and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and a bank. The flat is very quiet, you do not hear much noise from the streets. The apartment is quite large, more than enough room for a family of four without constantly being in each other's space. Having the second bathroom was great as well. With two separate bedrooms, the location in the city and number of bathrooms, the value for this apartment is really good.

The initial instructions to reach the apartment could be better. The entrance on Klauzal utca leads you to a broken down elevator. If you do not view the video sent on the day of your arrival, you won't know some vital information that there are two working elevators on the other entrance of the building (Akacfa utca). We ended up hauling our luggage up seven flights of stairs to reach our floor. You would be much better off going to the Akacfa Utca entrance to start, after getting your key fob from the Klauzal Utca side. Everything got better once we figured out the elevator situation, but initial impressions weren't great after climbing seven flights of stairs. Also, when we arrived the lights in the lower bathroom weren't working and the controls for the tv and media player were missing batteries and we did not have enough towels. I contacted the host, who assured me that they would bring bulbs, batteries and towels the next day, but those never arrived. We managed to figure out the situation ourselves and found extra towels tucked away in a cabinet, but we had to wash those first. The apartment was somewhat clean, but don't expect it to be spotless. The kitchen cabinets might look dirty, but they are in fact clean, the cleaning solution just leaves streaks. We're pretty easy going so it wasn't a big deal for us to do a bit of cleaning on anything we felt needed a bit extra. There's cleaning supplies in the closet if needed. The lighting in the unit could be a bit brighter, overall it's fairly dark in all the rooms. And the smaller bedroom with a futon in it is a bit uncomfortable than a regular bed, but still fine for a couple kids to stay in. Having a washing machine was great, but there isn't a dryer so you have to hang dry everything. The front door is a bit worrisome at first as it doesn't have a deadbolt, and the noise from the hallway is a bit loud at times.

Perfect everything but put more towels

The interior design is very pretty and its spacious, perfect for groups.

The instructions were not the best, we only got it last minute before checkin and they made us go trough the building up and down many stairs, although there is an other entrance that works perfectly. The tv was set to french and we couldnt change it.

The apartment is in a good location and potentially could be comfortable.

the professional hosting company ruins the experience . Briefly, the 2nd bedroom has a poor sofa bed , not suitable for one person let alone 2. The supposedly sofa bed in the lounge room is just a sofa. The city views offered are of the ugly back side of some neighboring buildings . The advised by the host entrance instructions leads to a non functioning elevator , even though there are 2 functioning elevators through another entrance. We found out the hard way , by walking up 7 floors …!! There is only one set of keys offered , and the door bell doesn’t work …so leaving the apartment individually was complicated . There are absolutely no amenities no coffee, no sugar , no dishwashing tablets , no napkins, no shower gel ….im surprised they offer toilet paper !! Are the guests expected to buy all these things for a 3 day stay ? There are no instructions on how to use, where to find , so it was like a treasure hunt to find and operate everything !! The communication was terrible, we requested the offered 3rd bed , but there was no reply or even extra linen. Eventually the host was not apologetic or sympathetic and denied any wrongdoing.

It is a nice place to stay if the host make it cleaner, it is big enough for 6 person. The balcony is amazing and very cozy

The house was not clean at all, even the sheets were not washed.
