The check in was awful and ruined my overall trip to Nagasaki. I was driving around 6 hours with 5 other people and a child and at 2:00 at night when I arrived at the hotel they said they will give me another address to check in. It was raining and I went to another address to check in and then again to the address that was in the Booking.

The experience of checking in has been the most horrible experience ever. We arrived after driving 5 hours from a road trip at night. It was pouring rain. We were 3 adults, 2 elderly people one of whom could not walk without wheelchair, and a sleeping 2 year old kid. The address they sent us on booking.com had the location of the building we stayed at. However, we had to go to another building for check-in by walk under pouring rain. They ask you to fill out too many details no other hotel or AirBNB ever asked in Japan at 2 am. Then the receptionist asked us to go back to the building we came from under rain with all our luggage. We had a lot of it. The receptionist had not explained how we could unlock the main gate to the building which took us another 5 minutes to figure out. Terrible check in experience!
