Some parts of the house are a little outdated but it didn’t impact our joy of being there
GBWe must start by saying that Faith the host was so accomodating and lovely. She was always available and lives within the grounds. Faith was very approachable, nothing was too much trouble, although we did not have to ask her for anything as everything we needed was already available to us, even down to the wood for the braai. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything about the property was fantastic. The interior facilities were of the highest standard, the four upstairs bedrooms were spacious and all had fantastic views over the rear garden and the Constantia Valley. Two of the bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms with a family bathroom for the other two bedrooms, The lounge and dining room were huge and lovely furnished, both leading to a huge covered outdoor patio. The garden was exceptional, (no need to visit Kirstenbosch Gardens) lovingly looked after by Faith and Cain the gardener. The property was in a brilliant location with easy access to both sides of the Peninsula, very close to shops and restaurants. We were a family of 6 and at the end of our 12 night stay we wished we could have stayed for much much longer. We would give this experiance a TEN star rating and our thanks to Faith for letting us stay at her beautiful home. We hope to return in the not so distant future.
