Eagle Rock Nature Stay

The only nice thing was the nature around the resort.

Extremely dirty (bed sheets and towels with hairs and brown spots, toilet seat covered in excrements, dirty kettle, furniture, shower). The description is a total lie. There was no soap and shampoo. The extra "futon bed" turned out to be a mattress on the floor. The "pool" and billiard room were absolutely not usable, the water in the pool was filthy and probably hasn't been cleaned in years. The billiard room was in a run down building with a burnt ceiling that was partially falling down and with broken glass scattered on the floor. The quality of breakfast did not correspond to the stated price of 18€. The table and cutlery were always dirty and sometimes we only got dry bread, eggs and a little honey with some tea. The day we arrived, we stood in front of closed gates with no way of contacting the owners as there was no cellphone reception in the mountains. It seemed as if they did not expect us to arrive. When we finally were let in, they were still eating in front of our room and did not clean up after themselves.

Really beautiful place, probably one of the best in whole Uzbekistan. We really enjoyed hiking and views on the mountains. Nice sport for observing local nature and taking a break from busy Tashkent. Food was good. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cold during the day, and warm during the night. The staff was helpful!

Leisure was not organized and you need to entertain yourself. In general, it is not difficult to do and it is somehow also advantageous. But you just need to be prepared for it No hairdryer, no groceries around. Dogs are nice, but slightly annoying.

Unique place, must visit during the road trip through Uzbekistan. Comfortable rooms, amazing hosts, home-made breakfast, adorable views and walks in the mountains, dreaming of visiting again and staying for longer.
