Riverfront Golf Estate House

The house is lovely and spacious as expected by the pictures, lovely location and very scenic Cleanliness of the house is not up to par, spider webs were seen throughout the house, dead bugs on some bathroom walls and bedroom blinds; a hair ball was found in one of the wardrobes upstairs; kids drawings was seen in the cupboards downstairs, toilet paper got finished on Saturday afternoon and we had no access to extra until Sunday morning when Chantal told us where to find it; one toilet upstairs slightly backed up it soon became fine but water was not coming out so we had to improvise so that it can flush; we were 8 friends in the house with only 2 fleece blankets that were in the lounge - no blankets in the bedrooms; the trigger lighter in the kitchen was not working - tried it several times to no avail; we had seen an ice maker on the pictures before booking but it was not in the house on arrival Chantal then explained it broke too much and was taken out - she then sent us some bags of ice with snacks; the pool was also not completely clean; we understand that the house is self catering but it would be a lovely touch to have coffee, tea, sugar and milk for guests. Otherwise we had an good stay.

The overall property was in clean and the everything was great

We had a few challenges however Chantal was great with communications and managed to sort it out

The location & ease of access, yet it was secure. The house is well decorated, comfortable beds and bathrooms, very spacious, beautiful garden and river frontage. The pool & BBQ facilities are great

I can't really fault the place, there were a few minor maintenance matters which is easy to fix It's rather expensive, but still worth the money

We recently took a trip to the Parys area for a golf weekend with friends, and this guesthouse was the perfect spot for our getaway. The house was spacious, spotless and well-equipped, providing us with a comfortable stay. The pool is a refreshing treat, clean and perfect for cooling off after a round of golf or fun. Situated on the Vaal River, you can enjoy stunning views, peaceful relaxing or a fishing session. Being right next to the golf course makes it incredibly convenient for golf enthusiasts. Chantel, the host, is incredibly accommodating and goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Even during the power outage in Parys, due to the storm, the house's solar power system kept things running smoothly. If you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay, with friends or family, we highly recommend this guesthouse.

Place is wooow , we got more than. What we had in mind. Host was east to contact , place easy to find close.to town and breath taking. Pictures don't do justice to the establishment.
