The rooms are clean and the price is good. Also the staff is very helpful. They let me change to a quieter room which was very friendly and helpful.

There is a little bit of noise form the nightclub next door. For some people it’s no problem but if you are a light sleeper you might need earplugs.

The room was horrible. There were plenty of mosquitoes and ants. The toilet initially had flickering light, although it was fixed after I informed the receptionist downstairs. The toilet was dirty and was never cleaned, and the same applied to the room.

This is a very basic, reasonably clean, good value place a short walk to the beach. I stayed in room 314 for fourteen nights. This is a good sized, basic double room with two bedside cabinets, a clothes hanging rack (no clothes hangers) and a desk and chair. A kettle and tea bags (no sugar or powdered milk) were provided. Rooms are cleaned on request, which I prefer because I don’t like the hassle of daily ‘housekeeping’. There is no fridge or room service. There is an en-suite with a bath, toilet and sink. There are plenty of electrical sockets. There is a very good A/C and a ceiling fan. WiFi is weak, but functional. There is a TV, but I couldn’t get it to work- not a priority for me. As with all the hotels in this area, there are occasional power cuts, especially during bad weather. Prasad and Sujit (reception) were really kind, hard-working and helpful. Recommended for experienced budget travellers with realistic expectations for prices in this range. TOP TIPS: (1) tuc tucs outside the hotel are best avoided. Use the PickMe or Uber apps instead. However, these can also be dodgy (read reviews); (2) I highly recommend local buses for going into the centre (R75 from Mount Lavinia to Fort or Petah market). Buses are NOT suitable for luggage though.

Avevamo avvertito saremmo arrivati prima, rispondendoci che non ci sarebbero stati problemi. Invece una volta lì ci hanno chiesto 1.000 rupie per ogni ora in anticipo. La vasca della doccia è in condizioni pessime.

There is almost nothing to like about this hotel.

The hotel is very old and the room is very dirty. Especially the birth room is very dirty. I saw big cockroach from the toilet. The room is not well cleaned and found spider web on corners of the room. Also there’s smell of cigarette outside the room and cigarette butts in the stair. Before booking this hotel I didn’t know it is right next to a night club. They start playing loud music night 9 to morning 5am. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. This is the worst experience in my life never ever staying there.
