Auberge golden wave imsouane

Imsouane was one of my favourite places in Morocco and a big part of that came down to my stay here. The guys who work here are awesome, Mohamed and Hassan are super attentive and kind. The location is perfect, a bit removed from the main part of town so it's pretty quiet, but still a short walk to the surf (the walk back is uphill, so you will get your workout in!). The breakfast and family dinners Hassan makes are delicious and it is a fantastic place to meet other travellers and make friends to surf with. Amine was my surf instructor during my stay and he is one of the very best and made it so fun. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, and the terrace and main area have incredible views. I hope to be back again some day, thank you from Canada :)

The dividing wall between the rooms in the apartment does not go all the way to the top, so sound and light travels easily between the rooms. Just wear an eye mask and/or ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Great hostel, perfect location, great rooftop terrace. The guys working there are friendly & helpful and the hostel meals are fantastic.

The location was great, just 7mins from the bay and La Cathedrale (if you are here for surfing). Enough spaces to leave your board and hang your wetsuit. The staff was super friendly, they also let me use the washing machine when I ran out of clothes ;) Hassan’s restaurant on the roof is amazing, the breakfast was super tasty and nourishing after a surf session - as well as the family dinner which is offered every few days. Big thanks to him and his team, will be back for sure :)

The guesthouse was a bit empty when I arrived so it was difficult to meet people there at first (probably due to low season) but soon enough it filled up :)

Clean, simple and friendly spot to stay. Close to the beach, lovely rooftop area and delicious regular “family dinners” cooked by Hassan. Relatively sparse furnishings but had everything we needed and excellent value for money.

It was fantastic. The view of the rooftop. You can check waves from there and you have a great sunset. The room was also quite big and clean and nice.

Everything was perfect. Halil is a great host!
