Majestique Hotel Albay Bicol

The place is a bit far away from tourist attractions but it has view of Mayon. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The hotel is said to be pet friendly but it's not. Barley tolerating a dog is not pet friendly. We stayed for two nights with separate bookings. The first night was ok even though we could feel the owner (?) was bit unfriendedly about our dog. When we went back the next day that's when it got worse. As soon as we pulled into the parking we could see the owner rolling her eyes then she went upstairs to check if the room is ready with an annoyed expression. She probably thought we can't see but it was obvious and very rude. She only put on a forced smile when we entered. First, we didn't understand why but then later on realized that the problem was with our dog. Turned out that they didn't notice our dog the first day at check in, only when we went out with her to potty at night. So this time, we had to pay an extra 500 peso fee for her. Considering the price of the hotel It's way too high of a fee for a tiny 3kg dog in a "pet friendly" place especially without prior notice to this fee. But it was ok, an unpleasant surprise because we could have booked better hotels in better location for that price, but no big deal. What upset us was the attitude and the reasoning for this fee. That rooms will need "deep cleaning" (I didn't even understand this, rooms should always be deep cleaned after each guests?) after pets staying in them because some guests doesn't like dogs and our dog should wear diapers at all times and so on. I understand that she wants to please guests but she forgot we are guests too... Our dog is potty trained and wearing a diaper all day all night would be highly uncomfortable for her. Pets are family and should be treated as guest, too. Please just don't mark your hotel as pet friendly if you don't like pets.

The place is clean, staff are accommodating, its in the middle of bicol's finest tourist spots. Will definitely be back. Truly a majestic place to stay 😍

the breakfast i had was very good and healthy. clean spacious room. the location is perfect because right outside is where you can catch ride to anywhere. it's also close to the market walking distance. also outside is safe and good for morning jog or walk, there's also a lot of people jogging in the morning. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. they even recommend good places to visit as a tourist. would definitely be booking again next year.
