GBThe rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The decking area was also nice to sit out on.
The oven barely heated up so we were unable to cook food in the oven and had to just use the hob. The fridge also didn’t stay cold which meant some of our food went off.

The apartment was cold. The heating was only able to be boosted for an hour at a time which I can understand in a way but it was capped to go back down to 14 degrees as standard in late December. They could've upped it for the duration of our 2 night stay so we were comfortable. Heaters were provided but didnt heat the space adequately. A door or curtain at the bottom of the stairs might help keep the cold out from the main doorway

NGI loved the location of the property—it was set in a quiet and serene countryside environment. The house was spacious and very clean, with free Wi-Fi, three bedrooms (two with en-suites), and enough space to accommodate ten people comfortably, they provided stairs guard rail for the little kids. It also had a lovely balcony/conservatory where children could play, as well as ample parking for cars, as we were two families with two cars. The property was perfect for our needs, and if I were to go on a similar holiday again, I would definitely choose this place. There was hardly anything to complain about, as almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.
The only downsides were that the nearest big stores were miles away, and a few basic household items such as a blender, mop stick, bucket, brush, and dustpan were not provided, which meant we had to purchase them ourselves. However, overall, almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available, and we really enjoyed our time here.

GBThe space easily fit 8 people in two families. The rooms were warm and comfortable. Close to some really nice pubs. Short drive into York. Quiet area and great park a short while away.

Kitchen was not clean - shower trays not clean Windows in kitchen area not clean Kitchen utensils missing/no coffee pots/no scissors we had to go out and buy a spatula! No hot water for 10 people for 1 day - owner did fix this thank you - kids and adults had cold showers No dish washer & with no hot water meant boiling the kettle to do the dishes! Fridge/freezer is broke? Wooden balcony is not stable - needs urgent attention we had to keep everybody away from it Oven was poor Needs a single use toilet
