Varandas do Vale Furnazinhas

This was a fabulous place - fer better than our expectations and one we are determined to visit again as soon as possible. Facilities were truly excellent from the completely private infinity pool to the fabulous sun room, barbecue, comfortable bed and we'll equipped kitchen. And the location and views are to die for. In all, top class.

Beautiful location with outstanding views. It’s quiet , unspoilt and sparsely populated position with marvellous walks surrounded by spring flowers in bloom everywhere.

Great location, far out, but in 20 minutes at the coast and the next town Extremely quiet and perfect for a few relaxing days. Xana and Miguel have been such wonderful hosts, always available if you have any needs, but still 100% privacy. We would love to come back in the near future

Absolutely wonderful location - a perfect getaway from everything. The host was fantastic with a tour of the villa when we arrived and then left us alone throughout the whole stay. The numerous seating areas provided plenty of hideaway areas with breathtaking views. The detached dining room and private pool areas were wonderful places to relax during the day or night-time. Supermarkets/restaurants are just 25 minutes away and there are plenty of places to explore locally, even a ferry trip to Spain! The best place we have ever stayed. 100% recommended.

Nothing significant. The dirt-track road to the villa is a little awkward to find the first time, but you soon get used to it. Cooking facilities are a little basic, but nothing detracted from our holiday.

A wonderful location. Very quiet and with a beautiful vista of the valley. The owners are very kind with great hospitality. They made me a perfect vegan dinner.

great place to stay after the long hike. the couple holding the place offered us a hike package for 30 EUR per person that included the dinner, breakfast and the lunch box. super nice people.
