Newlands Peak Southern Cross

We had a truly wonderful stay at Newlands Peak Apartments. The apartment was exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for daily life, including a fully functional kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable, washing machine, a lot of space in wardrobe - just perfect. It really felt like a home away from home. The security and staff and contacts via WhatsApp were outstanding, always friendly, helpful, and professional, which made the entire experience even more comfortable and stress-free. The location is perfect, especially if you're participating in the Two Oceans Marathon. Being so close to the starting point is incredibly convenient. After the race, relaxing on the terrace with the pool and taking in the breathtaking views of the city and surrounding mountains was simply unforgettable. I highly recommend Newlands Peak Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming place to stay.

It was modern, spacious with all amenities.

Would have been helpful if there was a tumble dryer.

The property was centrally situated. It was clean and well kept. The aircons helped keeping the property warm. Overall it was comfortable save for the shortfalls as reflected below.

The bed cushions were uncomfortable. I would suggest they are changed for new more firmer cushions. There was also no additional blankets. There was also only one hand towel in bathroom. if the latter towel gets wet or perhaps dirty then there is no other towel. The kitchen also did not not have a bin. There was a bin in the bathroom and bedroom. There was no tea bags only coffee. We were unable to stream any programs on the bedroom TV as there was no network connection. We were unable to see any local programs or Netflix etc

Great location. Within walking distance to Cavendish. Great security, excellent gym facilities and lovely rooftop pools.

Crossing over main road to get to Cavendish is rather dangerous.
