Maximus apartments in Mestia

A pleasant view from the window, it was warm. Negative: It was too hot (the room listing mentioned air conditioning or a fan), but we weren't provided with either upon request. There is some kind of utility room below, so it's always hot inside the room and it doesn't get aired out, even at night. We didn't really enjoy our interactions with the owner. One person is listed as the host, but a different person receives the guests. As a result, the second person isn't interested in solving your problems. The third sleeping space would only be comfortable for a child, an adult would be uncomfortable. The shower has no door. The drain in the tub was also broken during our stay. We were misled by the photos of a good renovation, but there was none. On top of that, the stove works very slowly; it took 15 minutes just to brew coffee.

Hacía mucho calor y no había AC pero por la noche refresca y al abrir las ventanas se fue el calor. Hay que subir escaleras estrechas en caracol que con maleta se hace difícil pero no imposible.

Shower is good

My wife and i were not satisfied with the stay, don't know why it has such high ranking-- 1. The pictures of the room on booking.com are very good, but actually it's not. The shape of the room is pretty strange. It's like a polygon. I could not fully open the door of bathroom, and when the door is open, i cannot get off the bed. So strange. 2. When i walked to bathroom, i hit the wall cupboard which hurts very much because the cupboard corner is right on your shoulder and very sharp. Almost everything in the bathroom is loosen with LOW quality. 3. The ceiling of the room is very shabby and made us feel uncomfortable. 4. What's most strange is that we need to go through an equipment warehouse (not clean and not orgnized) to go to the room. And there's steep stairs which would bring problems if you have big luggages. The yard where the room is in is not beautiful at all, also no view. 5. There's only a grandpa with very limited English and couldn't even communicate. The owner never showed up. Highly not recommend!!!

The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is good and the Mountain View from the balcony was lovely. Our host was also very helpful and assisted us in arranging a day trip. It was really helpful to have access to facilities to wash our clothes.

The kitchen is lovely to have but currently lacks some basic equipment which would be helpful to have (eg oven gloves/ a dish cloth).

This B&B is especially clean, you can cook, the dishes are clean, the location is convenient, the city center, the space is also bigger than the average hotel, there are heaters to bake clothes, the owner is also very nice, help us to take our luggage, pick up and drop off the plane, all in all the experience is very good!
