The apartment is fine. It’s a little bit rundown, but the beds are comfortable.

I booked the property and agreed to pay $80 US for two nights, including taxes and fees. 12 hours before I was to arrive, they sent me a separate link through WhatsApp, asking me to pay 407 Soles, which was about $27 more than the $80 I had agreed to pay. Many of the people communicating with me did not speak English, although this was nowhere indicated when I booked the apartment. When I asked them to charge the credit card on file with Booking the $80 I had agreed to pay, they refused to reply. I eventually paid the increased amount, because I didn’t want to deal with finding a new place last minute. Upon arrival, we had to wait over 25 minutes outside the apartment building, on the street, waiting for someone to open it up. They provided us with no information about how we were going to get into the building, even though I told them the time we were to arrive.
