The staff were excellent

Ground floor rooms were damp and smelt of damp. Rooms were not made up.

The comfortable bed and the modern, well-designed interior were the best parts of the stay.

There was no hot water during the stay, which was very inconvenient. The Wi-Fi connection was poor and unreliable. The room lighting was uncomfortable, with multiple spotlights directed straight at the bed instead of proper bedside lighting. Power outlets were very limited — I had to unplug the bedside lamp just to use the electric kettle. The room was not soundproof, and noise from outside and neighboring rooms was clearly audible. Additionally, the pool was not heated, which was disappointing.

je crois que de tout mon séjour au Sri Lanka, l’hôtel Aayu Hanthana a été mon préféré! la localisation est super, au calme et à la lisière de la Jungle, donc à part le passage de qques singes et animaux sauvages, vous serez tranquilles! (notez qu’il est en dehors du centre ville de Kandy, a 10min environ en tuktuk ou voiture, mais ca a été un super compromis pour nous) le personnel est incroyable, aux petits soins, et disponible! (ils nous on même préparé un petit déjeuner avant l’heure habituelle car nous devions partir tôt). et les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et la déco est juste magnifique! (il n’y a pas de climatisation, mais ça n’a pas été gênant pour nous car les nuits ne sont pas très chaudes) on a vraiment adoré cet hôtel, on se serait même senti d’y rester encore 1 ou 2 nuits de plus, c’est très proche d’un service d’hôtel de luxe, merci au personnel de l’hôtel qui a été super!

The staff was really friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The host helped us a lot when our train tickets to Ella were cancelled and gave us a good alternative.

Loved the interiors and the top-notch service left us in awe of the place.

Not really not like but it's just a bit far up the city centre. If you're looking for accessibility to city this might not be the place but if you have a car / tuktuk / bike for commute it's a fab place to try out

Breakfast arrangement was satisfactory. Location was excellent and ambience very appealing.

Food quantity and quality was far below expectation. It needs improvement.
