A bit tricky to get to

Place has beautiful and cosy set up at the cliff right with a stunning ocean view, especially great for the sunsets. Room was clean and AC worked well. Comfy bed. Owners are super nice and hospitable, f. ex. we wanted to rent a scooter on the day when we arrived and they didn’t have any of their own available, so they found out where we could rent one and even dropped us off to the place :) Their restobar is great and convenient since the place is a bit further away from San Juans restaurants, can recommend having a breakfast (their omelette is great!) or grabbing a dinner there if you’re feeling too lazy to go anywhere else. They also offer massages on the spot, didn’t try one but thought about it, price for 1h massage wasn’t bad at all.

It’s roughly 15-20 min drive from San Juan, you will need to have a scooter or take tricycle in and out from the place, but wasn’t really a problem for us since we knew that when booking. Curtains didn’t really block sunlight, so bring your sleeping mask if you’re bothered with the light in the mornings.

The view is amazing, even better than the pictures and location is great sunsets. At night it's dark enough to see the stars. The staff was nice. The room was nice, large and I liked the bathroom, very original. Really peaceful location in a less touristic part of the island.

The road to access is a bit damaged so it can be challenging or annoying, not a big deal for me tho.

Very nice and hidden place in Siquijor, located close to the Old Tree in the south of the island. With a motorbike (you better have one there😃) it takes you 30 minutes from the harbor to get there. I would recommend to rent a motorbike after you left the ferry (there are many options close to the. pier). That's the cheapest way to get there. But they also offer pick up, so there is no need to take a tricycle. Once you arrived a basic, but spacious and clean hut will be your new home for the next days.The owners and stuff are very sweet, helpful and caring - the restaurant offfers good breakfast and dinner options and you have a all time great ocean view and snorkle facilities nearby (5 minutes walking and hiking distance only, don't miiss!). So If you are looking for a quiet place away from San Juan - go to this place !!!

The road getting up there is not that cemented but nonetheless has nothing to do with the property itself.

We really enjoyed our short stay here, we prefer more remote locations & picturesque views so this was ideal. - The cabins are spacious and clean, (the shower isn’t hot but the host did offer a thermos of hot water which we hadn’t been offered elsewhere and we very much appreciated, the water was also heated by the sun so I did get a short hot shower.) - Staff were very helpful, showed us the way to the ladder down to the sea, arranged taxi pick ups & helped with food when my partner was poorly. - Enjoyed watching the sun go down from the hammocks.

- Host wasn’t around during the day when we hoped to order meals so we drove elsewhere, but it can be quite a distance to any restaurants.

Why no toilet seat? Food was pricy for the quality.
