Comfy Quirky Country Cottage

no breakfast included. The location was perfect for the area we were looking for.

The cottage is perfect for a couple or small family, welcome items were left for us which meant after a long drive we didn’t need to rush out to the shops. I stayed here with my son whilst visiting family locally, and the location is quiet and peaceful , the cottage itself was exactly as described “quirky” , clean and really uniquely beautiful. I would 100% stay again. The host was really helpful when I forgot how to access the keys and ob hand to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this stay to anyone that wants a quiet getaway we were sad to leave.

Freezing on arrival and dark - not at all welcome - obviously the need to save money on heating and lighting overtakes any business sense - there was no parking at all so we would have been left parking our car on a main road which is very unsatisfactory

Great location. Super lovely and cosy home. Like a home from home. Super friendly and responsive host will Def stay again. Lovely country location but great pub within walking distance

Had everything we needed for a short trip. Very comfortable property with lots of quirky or personal decor. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped with towels, bedding, hairdryer/iron etc. The owner even kindly left us bread, milk, cereals etc for our stay. The location is very peaceful and quiet, one of the bedrooms overlooks a nice field with a flock of geese (which I didn’t hear actually!). The owner was very helpful and fast to respond to any communication. Overall the cottage is very cosy and comfortable, will definitely stay again when I’m in the area.
