The staff is the best. The dining hall staff are very mindful and sincere about your needs and very warm and friendly. Always there to help and personalise the service out of the way. The room service for little needs like water or a bit of salt is attended promptly with a smile. Make you feel at home. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms are top notch. Will always stay in Vivanta.

Breakfast spread was ideal for kids with adequate variety. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was equidistant from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad so it helped us cover both places within 25-30 mins.

2. Inter connected rooms on smoking floor. My booking was about a week before reaching the hotel. I had communicated to the hotel that we need inter connected rooms and they had confirmed via email. The day prior to reaching the hotel, on 13 th Aug, I got 2 phone calls in morning and evening asking about time of arrival and confirming the inter connected rooms . The flights were terribly delayed and we finally arrived at 1:00 am on 15th Aug. The staff at reception offered me two " nearby rooms as they had not kept the inter connected rooms for me. Finally, we got the Inter connected rooms but on the smoking floor. There was a distinct tobacco smell in the lobby which made it uncomfortable for my wife and both daughters to walk in and out of the hotel lobby. 2. Charging the full amount at time of checking in. I have seen hotels block amount on the card but not charge at time of check in. 3. After checking in at 1:00 am. We had to wait till 2:00 am to realise the hotel staff doesn't bring up the luggage.
