The Balcony Luxury Apartment

Mooi, schoon en ruim

Slaapkamers waren te licht, te weinig comfortabele zitruimte en heel gehorig met auto’s, stemmen van mensen op straat en heel veel geluid van meeuwen. Het ontvangst voelt niet vriendelijk en dat verwacht je wel voor de prijs. Zo staat er op foto’s Nespresso maar was dat er niet.

Imaginatively designed apartment, very comfortable

Really lovely, the pictures are a true representation of the accommodation. The owners have clearly spent a lot of money on the place, it feels stylish and luxurious but still comfortable. We were able to leave our bags in ahead of check in which helped massively too.

We had an issue with hot water running out in the evening. When it hadn’t resolved by the morning, we text the number provided at 7.30am. They responded eventually, unfortunately well after we had checked out to say that the hot water must have run out or else we must’ve switched off the boiler. As we had no help, we had to have cold showers which took some of the shine off the stay. Some more prompt assistance or clear signposting that the water runs out and/or can be easily switched on/off would have helped. That, along with no apology from the staff soured what could otherwise have been a great stay.

The size if the apartment and the balcony

The metal stairs at the back and no step. The apartment is for 7 people pity. There were only 5 dinner plates and 5 bowls and some on them chipped. Only 6 sets of cutlery . It was not exactly luxurious when I wouldn't use chipped crockery at home. Also, the wallpaper in the lounge is hanging off the wall.

The bed linen and towels were not great quality. Not at all sure about having a front door to the building with a bolt that needs a key to get out. Does this meet fire regulations???
