Golden Pension House,Palawan

Everything! First of all, the family that runs it. They were lovely, friendly, committed to give you the best experience they can offer. The room was fantastic, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the whole place looks like it was finished yesterday! You have to ignore the Google Maps pictures of the facade, because they show an ugly one that doesn't exist anymore. The new facade looks nice. This place is very good looking, very clean and comfortable, the air conditioning is effective and quiet, every room has a terrace, it's a quiet area. Yes, it is very close to the airport, but I was there and can honestly say that you are not bothered at all by the noise of the airplanes. I could barely notice them! And there are no flights departing or landing in the evenings (or at least it was that way when I was there). They offered me transfer to the airport, and it was included in the price! I cannot recommend this place enough for a stay in Puerto Princesa!

I had to admit that the street where this place is doesn't look good: it's just dirt, and the whole neighborhood looks "shady" and "unsafe", but let me tell you: I was completely new there, walking around alone until late night, and nothing bad happened to me. So the "bad" thing is that the surroundings don't look nice, but the pension house is indeed great!

The owners are very accommodating to their guests. The room itself and the bathroom were clean, and everything else was perfect. The location is also very quiet and calm, which is great since we can freely relax after the activities we've done for the past days. We're also grateful that they provided free transportation to the Puerto Princesa International Airport. Overall, Golden Pension House feels so homey and warm :)

The hosts were amazing, always happy to help and make our stay perfect. The property was very clean, water and the internet worked well and the location was in a calm area right next to city life and airport.

Owners and staff were extremely nice, room was clean and everything were provided for us. They even drove us to the airport. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recomending to book your stay in this place.
