Amazing quirky property with bags of historical features and modern facilities just off the high street within walking distance to shops pubs and restaurants. Great parking and enclosed garden.

It was a little difficult for my elderly parents going upstairs on the steep stairs each time to the lounge area.

Very comfortable beds and seating. Had everything you'd need during your stay. Very clean throughout. Modern facilities whilst keeping the original features and theme throughout. Great communication for easy check in/out.

The church bells take a little getting used to during the night!

This is a fantastic house in a great location. plenty of room to enjoy your stay. the bedrooms were lovely and cosy all with ensuite bathroom. The host had provided a lovely welcome pack with all the essentials you might need.

Great location just off the high street with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants close by. The house has been very carefully restored making it comfortable whilst keeping many of its historic features. The children enjoyed playing hide and seek around the house due to an abundance of hidey-holes the quirky layout. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Numerous toilets/ bathrooms (all modern and spotless) Lovely to hear the bells of the church next door chime the hour.

The stairs are quite difficult to maneuverer and would not be suitable for the old / infirm or very young children. As the bedrooms and sitting room are upstairs it could be a big issue for some. I would also have preferred it if one of the two downstairs rooms (with tables) was converted into a sitting room. A selection of local tourist information booklets would have been helpful.

Love the location, love the building, and all the facilities, my children and grandchildren couldn't asked for more, when they saw it,it was wahoo.
