Ventale Island Breeze Resort

I got a great deal on this hotel and decided to book it. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a cold towel and a drink, which was a nice touch. It took a little while before I was shown to my room, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade—a beautiful room with a small pool on the balcony and a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately, things went a bit downhill from there. Service was okay, but communication in English was sometimes difficult. I had half board and expected drinks to be included with dinner, but all drinks had to be purchased—and they were very expensive. A small soda (250 ml) cost €4.50, and even water was the same price for 1 liter. Getting the bill right away with the drink, including a tip suggestion, felt a bit awkward. The food was average. Some dishes were tasty, but much of it was quite bland. It was served buffet-style. On day two, I injured my toe on a sharp edge in the floor that was hard to see. It left a small cut and torn skin, and I couldn’t walk properly for 2–3 days. I reported it, but received no follow-up or response to my complaint, which was disappointing. There was also a nightly tax I hadn’t expected to be so high—€15 per night. For a 5-star hotel, I felt it didn’t quite live up to expectations. Overall, it was a nice stay, but I left a bit disappointed. There was also a lot of pressure to give feedback and ratings, which felt a bit pushy. The hotel is located about 40–50 minutes drive outside Chania

A great place at the beach. A fantastic hotel design, superb food, friendly staff, well-equipped hotel gym, a spa (which we didn’t have time to use), a very comfortable beach access. The hotel is brand new, they opened in the summer the previous year. The hotel was rather quiet probably due to the time of our stay which was at the very beginning of the season, the very first days in May.

They are having some teething issues - opened a few months ago - but nothing to worry about. No complaints.

Hôtel neuf qui entame sa 2eme année : tout y est donc moderne et récent. Chambre XXL avec une petite piscine privée et vue sur la Méditerranée. Personnel aux petits soins, tous multilingues (anglais, allemand et français), dédiés à leur clientèle et irremplaçables. Dans les environs : ballade en bord de lac, longue plage de sable,village de Georgipoulis à 4 km et ville de Rethymno assez proche. Pas d’opinion sur le restaurant de l’hôtel ayant pris mes repas à l’extérieur de l’hôtel. Bref idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent se poser dans un hôtel au top dans un cadrée idyllique.

Der Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt! Wunderschöne Anlage direkt am Meer. Das essen war außergewöhnlich, abwechslungsreich und sehr, sehr gut. Die gesamte Belegschaft war äußerst zuvorkommend und hat einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt!

Sehr schöne moderne Zimmer mit tollem Blick auf das Meer. Eigener Pool am Zimmer, wenn dieser leider auch etwas kalt war. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr leckeres Essen

3 nuits début octobre en demi-pension. Très bon accueil dans cet hôtel neuf au design contemporain. En nous accompagnant à notre chambre, l’hôtesse nous informe que nous avons été surclassés. Très bonne surprise en découvrant une suite vue mer avec piscine privée sur la terrasse . Tout est personnel est charmant, souriant et très professionnel. Les repas sous forme de buffet sont très bien mais pas tout à fait à la hauteur du reste de l’établissement. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.

Es hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Anlage ist klein, sauber und sie hat ein sehr freundliches Personal. Die Anlage ist gleich beim Strand, ein Traum!! Das Büfett sehr vielfältig und sehr gute Qualität!! Ich bin sehr glücklich und ausgeruht zurückgekommen. Herzlichen Dank Team Ventale Island Breeze Resort!!!
