"Avoid has cockroaches"

The area was approximately 15mins from Jonker street by taxi. Also a short walk to some restaurants and a great pancake cafe near by

Our appointment was covered in cockroaches on our arrival, crawling over our belongings. Cupboards were dirty & lots of dust under wardrobe & in cupboards. We were moved into another apartment at 2am in the morning which was better, still the odd cockroaches each day & we left the apartment cleaner than we found it. It was smaller than our original apartment & had no washer. The price was higher than most & I don't think it was worth the money. We could have had a more luxurious hotel near the centre. It completely spoiled our stay as we felt unsettled. We asked for a partial refund which we felt was appropriate but have had no reply. Avoid at all cost as security stated cockroaches are a huge problem in this complex.
