Ljubljana Palace Suites

Lokalita bola perfektná. Ubytovanie krásne, čisté a priamo v centre, so všetkým vybavením. Aj pre naše auto sme mali parkovacie miesto.

We were a party of 5 adults travelling internationally. This was our first stop when we arrived in Slovenia. We did not see our hosts at all as the key was easily available via a lock box and we were given very clear instructions and they reached out on Whatsapp. (I appreciated the reminder about leaving tourist tax as it is not the norm where I typically travel.) Easy access / great location. Safe and well-lit at night as well. Relatively close to many restaurants, cafes, etc. From here, we walked to the Central Market, Presernov Trg, Open Kitchen, Ljubljana castle and Plecnik house. Nice interiors. Very bright and clean. Kitchen was well-kitted out. It was nice to have a coffee machine with coffee provided. Air-conditioning worked pretty well. Motion-sensor lights all the way up to our apartment on the top floor. Considering there is only one toilet and bath area, it is good that they are in separate rooms for 4-5 people. We liked having a washing machine and dryer + dishwasher. Appliances worked well. (We did not try the stove top).

It states that there is an elevator but it was unclear that the elevator only takes you half the way to the apartment. We needed to climb a long stairway to the lower level of a 2-storey apartment, also only accessible by stairs. We had to carry our luggage up by hand. There were slippery carpets (without a non-slip base) all around the apartment which we moved aside these as we found them potentially hazardous. We found the stairs were slippery (and of one colour, which makes it difficult to distinguish each step, particularly for older eyes). One person in our party missed / slipped on the last step and fell badly on the day we were leaving. The photos available for the specific apartment were not very clear about the bathroom. It was nice and big and clean. However, it was unclear that that particular apartment did not have a shower. We found the large bath tub to be slippery and potentially dangerous. A non-slip mat would be helpful to have. Some coordination required as there was only one set of keys for 5 people. We were only there for two nights and so it was manageable. I would add that I gave this feedback directly to the hosts and they were very responsive and appreciative of feedback so hopefully some of the points will be worked on. We generally enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment.

Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο στη πόλη. Είναι πάρα πολύ μεγάλο και άνετο για μία οικογένεια 4 ατόμων. Οι οδηγίες που πήραμε από τον διαχειριστή προκειμένου να βρούμε το διαμέρισμα ήταν σαφείς και έτσι δεν δυσκολευτήκαμε να το βρούμε. Πολύ κοντά έχει πολλά εστιατόρια και καφετέριες. Οι χώροι είναι πολύ μεγάλοι και άνετοι. Επίσης, έχει ένα αίθριο στο οποίο μπορείς να κάτσεις εφόσον ο καιρός σε βοηθάει. Ο διαχειριστής ανταποκρίθηκε άμεσα σε κάποιο πρόβλημα που προέκυψε.
