It was nicely decorated

Besides the property being nicely decorated. We’ve ran into quite a few issues such as, mold/mildew found in the kitchen area, roaches seen in two out of three bedrooms, the thermostat was stuck at 80 degrees it was able to get it down to 77 degrees but increased back up to 80 degrees overnight. We even set the thermostat down to 55 & no luck! We were literally burning up in the house. The cleaning crew did a poor job keeping this house clean, dust was so thick you could smell it. Walls are marked up so bad as well. It was causing health concerns with one of my family members cause her to have asthma attacks throughout the short amount of time we was here. HOWEVER, the lady was very understanding of situation and was doing all she could to help us out the only problem is booking.com customer service support didn’t help out not one but go against the grain and getting a partial refund AFTER we stated we didn’t want it & just move our reservation to different location and if there’s a difference we will pay it. Mind you, we called the same night we got there. They didn’t try to help assist us in moving somewhere else. We literally had to come back out pocket AGAIN to pay for a hotel. Long story short, the host here was doing more for us than customer service. Corporate will be notified about this. Because we traveled a long way to get here and they basically said to us “as long as you can access the residence we can’t do nothing about it” mind you we’ve expressed MAJOR health concerns about the residence plus it’s worse because the temperature outside is 80 degrees + which made the house inside more hot. Overall, the host was very helpful with trying to assist us as much as she could but residence is a nice layout just wished the cleaning crew did their part. We did take pictures so we do have supporting documents.

The inside was dirty. We needed to clean all the sheets and towels and there was trash under the e beds.
