"A Gem in the Eastern Free State"

I recently booked a few rooms at Affilande for my 50th birthday celebration, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were beautifully presented, with everything you could possibly need. That weekend was cold and rainy, but the thoughtful touch of electric blankets on all the beds kept us cozy and comfortable. Adri and Leon were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Because of the rainy weather, Adri generously offered us their venue at no extra cost, even setting the table for us. The large fireplace created the perfect atmosphere, allowing us to sit together, enjoy the warmth, and celebrate in style. Affilande truly exceeded our expectations — from the stunning accommodation to the heartfelt hospitality. I can highly recommend this beautiful venue and accommodation; it is a true gem in the Eastern Free State.

What an amazing cottage. Beautifully situated with breathtaking views and scenery. The cottage was very well and thoughtfully laid out with everything we needed, and more. A huge new fridge / freezer, super comfy bed (with electric blanket), lovely outdoor Braai area, well equipped kitchen - even an airfryer! We wanted to stay in Ficksburg but there was no accommodation because it was the weekend of the Cherry Festival. It turned out that this was an ace place to be situated because it’s a really beautiful spot and was very close to Ionia Cherry Farm and Sandstone Estates. Don’t hesitate to stay here.
