Magnifique villa avec une somptueuse piscine ✨🤩

Villa was lovely, really well kept. Pool was great, outdoor sofas, lovely garden with fig trees. Villas were kept clean and tidy. They had all the facilities you can use to make food and drink however the owners would prefer you not make food. Cute bar area if you like an drink. This is self service. Great coffee machine. Breakfast was laid out from about 7am. Really nice pastry’s and little sandwiches. You could also help yourself to ham and cheese & juice from the fridge. It was self service and then they would pack breakfast away about 11am. We got clean towels every couple of days. Mini fridge in each of the rooms with some drinks & beer was a really nice touch. Great little villa for exploring around the area. I would say it’s on a busy road and 10 mins by car to town. Only 4 rooms in the villa which are around the central kitchen & living room. It has a homely setting so if there are other guests it feels quite intimate. We brought all the final rooms for us (5 adults and 3 children) after 2 guest left because we wanted to have more space & not have to feel we were disturbing other people.

When arriving the hosts showed us around but didn’t really explain everything we needed to know about the property. After several picture messages sent to me showing some of our shoes in the communal area, bottles of water and rubbish we supposedly but in the wrong bin we realised the hosts have many rules and regulations for staying here but we were not told about. We respected their rules but found the hosts to be quite controlling,defensive and unapproachable. They made us feel we were intruding in their home rather than paying for a service. My mum kept tripping on the mat in the kitchen so we told the hosts that we have moved it away & was concerned someone might hurt themselves. Their response was “no one has tripped before” and “we have insurance” !! Shower drain was blocked in one of the rooms. Again a sharp response “it’s hair” but later did try and resolve the issue. On the day of departure we were to check out at 11am. At 8.30am we were woken by gardeners cutting lawn and leaf blowing. We were not able to enjoy the last few hours outside and there was grass everywhere and staff cleaning. We had to eat inside and stay away. Cleaners also went into some of the rooms before we had even checked out. As we had 2 separate bookings so my husband did a review after receiving an automated email from booking.com. He didn’t write a review but ticked the scoring system of smiley or sad faces. He gave them a 2. This is his opinion. From this he had 2 absusive message and a phone call and so did I. I will add screen shots of these. We didn’t respond as we travelling home with 3 small children. Later on that day I get several more pictures and aggressive messages from them stating how we left the villa in a mess. This is not true and we have video evidence to prove this. The hosts also threaten to report us unless we take the review down. Over 24 hours I have more than 17 WhatsApp messages and pictures from the hosts.

Loved this villa! Only 4 rooms so it’s small and cozy. We had the « luxury » room and it was super spacious. The communal areas were very nice and everything was available for us to use and make our stay just like home. Communal kitchen and fridge was great! Also a small bar was available if we needed a drink or a bottle of wine. You just need to mark what you took and you will get charged for it later. The pool and patio was also very nice! The owner and staff were very helpful and always there when we needed something. The service was great and we got great dinner & beach club recommendations! The included breakfast was limited but way enough for us. We enjoyed it. Overall a great stay!

Although the villa was super nice, the walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors in the next room when they are loud. We had the « luxury » room and it was next to the family room, so imagine us being woken up several times by screaming kids and slamming doors. We made a comment to the owner and he spoke to the family, so it was a bit less noisy the next days. Also the communal kitchen is great, if the other guests there don’t clean up after themselves, it’s awful. We were clearly explained by the staff that we needed to clean up after ourselves when we use something. It was also written in the kitchen. We were the only ones cleaning up, out of 4 rooms. We even had to clean up after the families of 4 and 3 middle age ladies, as they left all dishes in the sink! When we mentioned it to them, the « mature » ladies told us to «  go f** ourselves ». This concept is super , when you have respectful guests around. Don’t get me wrong, This has nothing to do with the villa itself or the management, it’s the other guests that makes it or break it, as all areas are to share amongst the guests. The family of 4 that was there was also occupying the entire place like if they were home! Doing laundry and leaving their 2 kids in the pool unattended. With all that said, we would go back again!
