"Comfortable stay in the center of Volterra"

The location of the apartment is very central and the flat is large and well equipped. It is just a 5-10 minute walk from la Docciola parking (many stairs to climb!) so convenient for the ones travelling by car.

No hairdryer, beatle-like insects inside the house.

"Though the location was great, this apartment didn’t made it on our happy list."

The location of the apartment was great, close to everything

The apartment was quite dark and very noisy - you could even hear neighbours brushing their teeth... earplugs helped a little. The bedroom window went to a small courtyard that was dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable to keep the window open during the night. The mattress was old and sagging heavily and definitely beyond its life span. Sleep became a pain. Overall it felt like everything was a bit second hand. There were not even cups in the kitchen to make tea.
