GBThe place was in a lovely setting every morning. Waking up to wildlife was so beautiful. let's just say we never watched the tv at all well only once . The host was brilliant and so easy to talk to and couldn't do a noth for you we thank yiu for such a lo Ely stay and cant wait to come back . Every morning, we were greeted by floppy the Swan she is an injured Swan and such a beautiful bird (if we could, we would of packed her up and brought her home with us .) And other wildlife like kingfishers bats ducks geese rabbits list goes on you can also go fishing too and walk around the setting . The place is so peaceful and full of wildlife and plent of walks around the place . We enjoyed the peace away from busy roads and towns . We loved the art work the host is such gʻ lady . I would highly recommend this place is it such a wonderful place if want to get away from from city and town life and kids . York is 30 minutes away and Edan camp 49 but that that was because of road works . me and my husband didn't want to leave at all . Thank you for a lovely stay and cant wait to visit again .

GBThe setting of the lodge is wonderful. Very peaceful secluded place that is surrounded by stunning nature. Lots of different birds to observe, we were even fortunate enough to see deer, hares, tawny owls and a barn owl! There are beautiful lakes to walk around with a lovely bird hide equipped with blankets, binoculars and a book to record what you see. Perfect location for a trip into York City. There is a pub just 0.5miles away that serves the most delicious home made pies - lamb and mint was stunning. Highly recommend as a perfect getaway! We had a lovely mother daughters family weekend away 😁
