Little Nomads eco-guesthouse

This is a lovely, well-thought out and beautifully maintained property. Oliver has put a lot of care and effort into the place. The ladies that cook breakfast are also really nice! There’s a lovely, clean kitchen (can only be used after lunchtime each day because they cook breakfast in the AM) and a nice common outdoor space. The bathroom is clean and also semi-outdoors.

It’s quite loud here throughout the night with animals surrounding you on all sides (chickens, dogs barking, pigs) but this is also quite common/normal in the Philippines. The bungalow is not soundproof, so for those who are more noise-sensitive it’s a bit more like sleeping in a tent! Lastly, the bungalow ended up being quite hot some nights. If the power went out, the fans stopped working.

Lovely hosts who were incredibly helpful and friendly! The outdoor shower was amazing, both in the day with the sunshine coming through or at night with the stars. Nice and quiet location. Good communal space where you can buy beers, cook and relax.

Possibly better for people with scooters as it’s a bit far out of town, but we didn’t have one and did a lovely hike to a waterfall instead and used tricycles for dinners (but it’s about 150 each way so adds up). The pillows were a bit lumpy but otherwise it was very comfy!

Great value for money, a small hostel so by the end of my trip it felt like a little family! Olivier is a great host, can’t recommend enough

It’s slightlyy outside of San Juan but once you have a scooter this is fine, really close to pitogo cliffs which are beautiful at sunset or stargazing at night

It's tourism done in a good way I guess. It's low impact and without messing up the island and the community. Traveling would be more enjoyable if more tourism facilities had this approach instead of destroying the place we want to experience.

My stay at little nomads has been perfect. I booked three nights and ended up staying a week. The staff was super nice, giving us plenty of great recommandations of things to do in the island. I loved the open shower to see the stars at night, and the location was perfect, near San Juan where many things happen. Thank you so much ! I wish I could have stayed longer

Basic accommodation in nature.

It's overpriced for what you get on Siquijor and not very clean especially the bathroom.
