Well maintained property, it's clean and tidy. The bed was really comfortable! Quick communication from the host. Short walk into the town centre and train station is about 12 mins walk away.

"Internally it was lovely, very modern, very clean and suited two people for one night but the location far from ideal."

The property was really clean and modern and absolutely suited our needs for one night only. Phil was very helpful when we became confused about the location. There are some little nice gestures included such as lovely toiletries, biscuits for snacks and cereal for breakfast.

The location. Even though the SAT NAV took us straight to the property, we drove away again because it did not appear to be accessible. There are absolutely no signs whatsoever for The Malthouse or the apartment itself and when we arrived, we turned round because it looked like the whole property was still under construction. There was a derelict building on one side and there were some entrance steps to a level that looked make shift so it looked at first sight that it was inaccessible and we drove away and rang Phil for directions. There were also a load of rubbish bins outside with rubbish strewn all over the ground which also happened to be the view from the property. I think once the outside is completed and all signposted it will be amazing as the internal property is lovely. Just think there needs to be more info on the website regarding the current situation. Minor issues were no hand towels and the lights from the mezzanine outside are permanently on all night and flood through the front door do hard to sleep if you like darkness. Could be remedied with an appropriate curtain on the front door.
