Good place clean and tidy

Heating was on all night too high

Comfortable bed, clean room. Kitchen equipped with main everyday use tools. Good location .

Very clean and with everything we needed for our stay. The host was very quick when answering our questions and did offer to update the parking permit to include our car - this would have been good to know in advance. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper were available in the room along with washing up liquid and sponge - very helpful.

Parking was difficult. The road outside is permit parking only and to park freely you had to park a little way along the next road. The area didn't always feel safe. I wouldn't have walked anywhere on my own. We booked a room with a sofa/bed as well as a bed so we would have somewhere comfortable to sit. However we were allocated a room with no sofa. When we contacted the host, they said we had been upgraded to a room with a dining table instead as there were issues with the other room. This would've been good to know in advance. They did offer to have us look at the other available options, but we decided to stay with the room we had been given as it was on the ground floor and convenient.

Was meant to have a sofa bed as well as a double bed so contacted landlord and he explained that there was something wrong with it so he 'upgraded' us to a different 'more spacious room' as it had a small circular table instead of a sofa bed, then went on to say it was the only room left available so we had no choice of another room to sleep 2 people. Was advertised as having cooking facilities, clothes washing facility, coffee machine and air con. We had none of these, and no milk at the property either. Microwave started smoking when we tried heating some food up. Had to buy a takeaway which wasn't in budget. There were planned riots that evening which were meant to be gathering only round the corner from the property so there were drones etc in the sky and a big police presence and groups of people forming on the main road which made it uncomfortable to go out and all the premises shut warky in anticipation of violence. Didn't want the windows open due to this so had to have the supplied standing fan on which kept us awake. And we had to share a bed which was not ideal. The Netflix and Prime video just gave us a black screen with the audio so could not watch any films either. Could smell beer near the bed. I could go on and on if I'm honest but I hope you've got the picture! Oh and no refund has been issued whatsoever.
