Peter Apartment with terrace

The apartment was very well equipped and with a big nice terrace, in a new building.

I didn’t like that when we arrived there was a problem with the window blinds and they had it repaired very late, around 7-8 pm. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom, I guess from the sink. Even if we made a reservation for a free parking spot, we found the instruction to acces the free parking spot unclear and we didn’t succeed to park there. We had to pay the parking 11.000 forints.

There’s nothing to like.

There’s NO airconditioning! Temperature was 25 degrees according to their own wall thermostat and could not be adjusted. There’s no air flow due to the design of the apartment and it was a sweltering hell. The sheets were soaked with sweat every night. The shutters both in the living room and bedroom are broken, the bedroom ones are stuck in the open position so it gets bright at the crack of dawn. The front door latch gets jammed about 50 percent of the time. Once it took us 45 minutes to open it and the manager couldn’t give a tuppence. Just said we should turn it a couple times more. Internet is very shoddy and was cutting off every 10 minutes. Broken glass in the cupboards. Very cluttered apartment with no space for your suitcase. Location is terrible. It’s like in the epicentre of dullness, which is rare as Budapest is such a lively city! There’s no good supermarket or bakery nearby. Only book it if there’s nothing left in Budapest and if you don’t mind sweating like a pig all night and playing Russian roulette with the front door.

Beautiful apartment, amazing location
