Breakfast was limited, but local food and quite tasty. Overall the property is quaint and if you don't expect much, it's a good stay for a couple of nights.

Mosquito is a huge problem and cleanliness is very basic level ( Though It didn't bother us much). The rooms are smaller than how they look in the pictures.

Ambience was decent.

The experience with the overall staff at the front desk was absolutely not upto the mark. Also, when we booked the Hotel on booking.com, it was booked as All-inclusive Meal plan (AP), but at check-in it was mentioned to have a technical glitch with booking.com, and the Resort offer Breakfast only packages. We had requested for an early checkin by 11 am, and they did not hand over the Hawa Mahal room even by 1 pm and we had to wait for 2 hours. After checking in, the towels were found dirty and crumpled. No hot water in the bathroom during winters and Room Heater when asked for, was told to be charged at exorbitant prices. Was an absolute 💯 mistake to book our stay there at Shantiniketan Retreat. Regret it!
