Location was excellent

Bedroom a bit small

The location is right down the street from St. Mark’s Church. The apartment is spacious, the air conditioning is the best working I have ever seen, and the host Sven answers his phone quickly and can fix things for you within an hour in my experience. He even sent a repairman to the apartment to fix an issue I was having. Again, within an hour of me calling Sven, it was fixed. The apartment also comes fully equipped with things like tea, a juicer, Cologne, and plenty of towels. This apartment raised the standard for me for all future accommodations. Sven was also able to arrange pick up and drop off for me at the airport which was very convenient since I was arriving late at night and didn’t want to fumble with the keys alone at midnight.

The only minor thing that could be improved upon, is a towel ring (holder) on the wall by the bathroom sink and kitchen sink. It doesn’t even need to be drilled in, it could also work with strong adhesives that stick to the wall. Anyways, this would help with drying your hands so you don’t have to constantly drip all over the kitchen and bathroom. Particularly if you have something sticky on your hands like orange juice (from the juicer) or something that stains, like toothpaste or wine. Speaking of which, the host has some alcoholic beverages in the kitchen for you to try! Look up on the counters. So that’s another plus point for this property.

This was the first time I felt at home in a foreign apartment. Perfectly equipped and wonderfully furnished with small details exactly as shown in the photos. Great location, very friendly host.

I loved staying in such a beautiful and comfortable space. The bedroom was so cosy - a comfy bed with a great mattress and nice soft bedding. I’m a really light sleeper but the apartment was so quiet I slept very well. There was also a useful separate space for dressing with ample wardrobe hanging space and an iron with ironing board. As others have said the kitchen is very well equipped so would be perfect for a longer stay too. The bathroom was great with a powerful shower and I appreciated having a hair dryer (there were even hair straighteners although I didn’t use them!). It felt like the host had thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location was perfect with quick and easy access to the main square. The surrounding area felt safe even at night and I enjoyed walking home through the atmospheric upper town after eating out each evening. I would love to return to Zagreb and to stay again at this apartment!
