This was the best last minute booking I have ever made. The Farmhouse was the sanctuary my family and I needed as we made an impromptu trip to the far north. Set in an idyllic farm setting which seemed far from the stresses of city life was only 5 minutes from the main road. As someone who often stays in motels and hotels this farmhouse was a breath of fresh air and the detail and care put into ensuring the property was ready to greet guests did not go unnoticed. My family are already planning our next trip to stay.

The farmhouse lives up to its name, it was cosy with a lovely old fireplace but with all modern comforts (wifi etc). Awesome view of farmland and animals, very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We arrived to freshly picked fruit and beautiful flowers - such a thoughtful gesture as we had had a long drive.

This was a very last-minute stay, and even with the very short notice, this property still exceeded our expectations. We fell in love and felt right at home with a little nostalgia thinking of South Africa. The sunrises are amazing, the house was absolutely lovely and peaceful, and the host were so thoughtful and lovely. My family, as well as our doggos, stayed, and we'd definitely become regulars here! When we arrived, the host made sure the house was warm with the fire going, we loved the sheep and cows as well as all the native birds. We made use of the webber, and the property had everything we needed.

Our stay at this historical farmhouse was incredible. The morning views of the sunrise and grazing cows and sheep were breathtaking. The cozy interior, especially the fireplace, made our evening warm and relaxing. The owner’s gift of farm-fresh honey was a sweet touch. A perfect blend of history and comfort—highly recommended!
