Quite steep stairs in the property so wouldn't recommend if someone has problems with stairs.

Me and my parents stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a family wedding, the apartment rooms were clean however we had a very awful and disappointing experience and would not recommend other people to stay here because the facilities were not working and when we called for assistance with a few items the staff were incredibly rude.

1) The key lock box was incredibly difficult to open - so had to call for help with this (I have now seen reviews from other guests who also struggled with this) 2) TV and remote and Netflix not working in the big room - disappointing 3) Shower is painfully slow and the control for hot/cold water does not work properly so very frustrating. 4) Sink gets overflowed/blocked very quickly 5) downstairs toilet got blocked and stank the whole place - when we called to inform the staff of this they said this was not supposed to be used! There should be a clear sign to say so! 6) staircase is very steep and narrow - need to be so careful! Funny how they don’t show this in their photos. My dad is elderly so it was difficult for him! The staff service is absolutely awful and have not sense of humanity as they did not bother to even apologise for all the inconveniences we had - had to chase them after this experience, I also had to contact booking.com for assistance but I’m sorry to say even they weren’t that helpful. Please AVOID booking this place it’s an absolute nightmare and the staff service is even worse, once they have your money they don’t want to know anything.

The location was good, not too far from the town centre and quite a pleasant 2 mile walk in.

There wasn't much else around. It was on an industrial estate which meant that office staff / lorry's etc. were an early morning wake up call - along with a rather annoying sandwich van that continually bibbed its horn.

It was clean

The description was very misleading.It says the apartment is suitable for people who wish to cook >No KItchen No cooker and nowhere to eat your food No Dining room or sitting room We had to eat food in the bedroom.Only 3 mugs and 3 forks No washing up liquid .We left the dishes in the sink which we had rinsed the food off them. NO heating it was FREEZING when we arrived and it was the coldest night of year I notify we would be there around 7pm so one would think they would have the heating on.

Large bedroom.

Very disappointed with the apartment it isn't actually an apartment it is a mismatch of two bedrooms a small bathroom. A steep staircase and tiny kitchen area. On arrival you turn up at a metal bar gate with a very tricky padlock leading into a carpark of an industrial building. There is nothing that looks like an apartment from the outside. Literally two fire exit doors at the end of a building. No signs saying apartment. Once we gained entry you go up the steep fire exit stairs to a landing with 3 doors. One wide open to an unpleasant bathroom one to offices and one to the apartment. On entering the apartment you are in the kitchen area which is one unit a fridge, sink and microwave this area has no heating. You are faced with another flight of steep fire exit stairs which you go up to a landing with 3 doors. Two bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bedroom is large it has a single heater. On arrival the heating was not even on and it was bitterly cold. The same in the 2 Nd bedroom. The bathroom had a working toilet, a sink with no plug and a shower which was broken but just manageable to use. The hot water was either red hot or non existent with low pressure to the hot water. The lake view isn't a lake it's more like a large pond and surrounded by industrial buildings. Unfortunately the property was not an apartment it is situated in a strange area with no other people living there. Thankfully I didn't book it just for myself as a single female as I would not have negotiated access to the carpark and I don't think I would have gained entry to the property either
